Avenue Red Podcast #135 - De Yan

Dejan Dex (from Macedonia) as we formerly knew him, has returned for his second contribution to Avenue Red Podcast under a new alias: De Yan (from North Macedonia). Possibly the only time an artist has ever, or indeed will ever come to us as a different name in a different country, without even bothering to move house.

Here De Yan takes us through a tripping, grooving 4/4 wonderland of freaky tech house tracks, strongly reminiscent of those halcyon days from the heyday of the genre... think Plastic City, Wiggle, London Housing Benefit etc. Over time we always see that names change, cities get new badges, football clubs get new owners, borders move... Nothing stays the same, but true quality echoes out for eternity, sharding out into many different manifestations. This mix is De Yan's vision of the current deeper shades tech house sound of 2019.
