Avenue Red Podcast #047 - Chris Boardman

After a recent spate of gigs in his hometown of Nottingham, nearby Derby and slightly further afield Leeds, we welcome the return of Leftback Records homeboy Chris Boardman for a second round on the Avenue Red Podcast series. This mix provides a great summary of Chris' role in the Leftback label parties alongside his friends Dudley Strangeways & Michael McLardy; a deep, dubby Techno vibe to warm up and some mind-blowing minimal Techno rhythms & sounds for laters.

"We've got some Leftback gigs coming up in Notts including a Saltwater Rooftop Terrace party and some events lined up in a few other cities. I will be venturing over to Birmingham to play at some good-looking parties but it's all still to be confirmed at the moment. I really want to start pushing on with my productions and hopefully get my sound pressed onto wax!"

I begin with some warm Dub Techno vibes, bringing it up and down along the way and taking it up a gear at just the right moment.
