Avenue Red Podcast #034 - MA.XIM

For the 34th Avenue Red Podcast we present Maxim Sukhanov AKA MA.XIM from Rostov-on-Don in South-West Russia. Like many other DJ's on the Avenue Red series, we discovered Maxim simply through his Soundcloud page after he released 2 mixes (currently not available) a couple of years ago and were really taken by his uber-deep, very dark style of dub-infused House & Techno music and were blown away by his slick and charismatic DJ'ing style. This new mix follows the same kind of path as what we first heard.

Maxim has toured across various cities of Russia and CIS countries and co-founded a party and music movement in his hometown of Rostov called HOT-BOX, where he has been the steady-handed resident DJ since it's inception hosting a wide plethora of international guests including Jody Wisternoff, Echonomist, Lola Palmer and Neil Quigley to name a few. He also hosts 2 radio shows on his local station - 161.FM Rostov-on-Don - where he regularly invites guests from the underground music scene across Russia to participate. We really dig his vibe and music choices and the way he ties it all together like only a true DJ knows how to. Enjoy the mix everyone, links to his music pages below!
