Avenue Red 1210 Mk3 - Dieter Mit Platten

The third episode of the Avenue Red 1210 series is another 12 records, 10+ years old from another uber-vinyl-junkie DJ. This time we have one of our very favourite underground selectors out there, Dieter Mit Platten from Vienna, Austria - a notorious crate digger since year 2000 with the utmost taste in all shades of house and techno music. Dieter is a member of the Funkroom collective and DJ's at some of the finest parties in Vienna, most notably the monthly Window Shopping nights at Club Auslage where he has played alongside some prestigious names including Eli Verveine and Julietta.

We want to highlight his ability to flow through house records with an impulsive fluency and zest by making specific reference to his "All Night Long" mix, released last year: https://soundcloud.com/dietermitplatten/all-night-long - 5 hours of premium quality house music. Dieter has put a lot of time and consideration into this mix, having dug deep through his vast collection (pictured in the artwork for this podcast) to create a delightful journey through an hour of old gems and lost oddities. It's been beautifully crafted and is a seriously essential download for repeat listening. As far as we are concerned, this is pretty much as good as it gets.
