On the episode of The Authors of History Podcast I talk to self published author Clare Wichbold about Suffrage, her book 'Hard Work but Glorious - Stories from the Herefordshire Suffrage Campaign'. Clare talks about the trials and tribulations of becoming a self published author, about her jourey into history and writing and about the leading social reformer Constance Radcliffe Cooke who story is facinating and uplifting. Clare also recomends her local independant book shop in Ledbury as a brilliant place to buy books.
