Gelisasangels

Introducing Gelisasangels, an emerging artist from Baltimore, Maryland, who grew up in the vibrant DMV music scene. Her diverse taste in music is heavily influenced by both her mother and father. Her father, a product of the MTV era, instilled in her a love for early '90s rock, while her mother introduced her to the soulful sounds of neo-soul and R&B. Despite facing discouragement as a first grader, Gelisas knew deep down that she wanted to be a rockstar, even recording in her uncle's studio at a young age

During the lockdown of 2021, Gelisas felt inspired to dive into music, leading to the release of her first song in 2022. For the past two years, she has been pursuing her passion for acting while also fronting a hardcore punk band called **Gelisas and the Web**. Although they haven't released any music yet, they do have a debut song titled “Business."

Since 2023, Gelisas has been consistently booked, going on and off tour and performing at various shows to build her name within the community. A highlight of her journey was a July 4th show where she generously donated all proceeds to support Palestine and the Congo. Gelisas is dedicated to her community, often hosting shows for fellow artists and participating in charity events

With her unique blend of influences and a strong commitment to her craft and community, Gelisasangels is poised to make a significant mark in the music scene as she continues to develop her artistry and share her voice!
