My God, why have you abandoned me? - Passion Sunday

Passion Sunday: The passion account of the Gospel of Mark is full of violence and pain. But in his suffering he shares bread and wine with those who deny, betray and flee, and exercises his Messianic role on the Cross. He cannot “come down from the Cross.” That would be failure.
