I am the true vine - Fifth Sunday of Easter

Fifth Sunday of Easter: Jesus continues to identify himself with images that come from Israel's history. Israel was seen as God's vine. But Jesus is the "true vine." Only through dwelling in Jesus does the disciple receive life, and bring life and fruitfulness to others.
