A prophet is despised only in his own country

A prophet is despised only in his own country: Jesus' wisdom and powerful miracles generate wonder when he comes home to his village. But his own people cannot see beyond his parents and his family. They refuse to accept him. Jesus suffers rejected, and is amazed.
