Duke Reiter, executive director at University Exchange and senior advisor to ASU President Michael Crow, explains how ASU’s Ten Across (10X) initiative is bringing together multiple ways of knowing, from the personal stories of people’s lived experience to data drawn from earth observing technologies and computer models. Armed with this information, 10X hopes to prevent “highly predictable disasters” and plan a more resilient future.
