' My spouse said If we get divorced, he's going for full custody of the kids. What should I do first?'
Bill Farias: 'Don't let fear rule your decision making that often makes for terrible outcomes. So if you are headed toward divorce, then what you want to do is remain calm and civil, log all of your parenting activities and responsibilities.
Log any significant issues that come up between you and the other parent, and when you believe that a split is actually going to happen, reach out to an attorney so that you can have a plan in place for that split so that you can optimize your chances of getting the parenting schedule you want.
