Ray Gurz sits down in the basement studio for my fourth face to face podcast. Ray Gurz the multi-lingual Japanese speaking Navy veteran talks boot camp and his band Carpenter Ant opening for Mastodon in a house (RIP Pirate's Cove). Ray explains his unorthodox method of learning how to play bass by numbers with his band Tile and their talks with Reptilian Records. Gurz has another band called Bad American that has just released a full length called "Scuzz". Ray also has his own skateboard company called Lost Soul which is releasing their newest video on May 21st. This guy does...not...stop. Grab a coffee and be inspired.
