Show Me Your Teeth: Monster Theory and Lovecraft Country

This week we are artpop talking about all things monstrous— From the history of monsters through myths, legends, folklore, and religions to the use of monstrous theory in regards to sexuality, gender, post-humanism, and cyborgs. In the second half, we offer our thoughts on the new HBO series Lovecraft Country and how those famous literary monsters have been reinvented by the series’ writers.
