Schlich is Visual Artist, Film Maker and Ritual Designer, living and loving in West Cork and best known for his Essay about the Cause and Effect of Shamanism, Art and Digital Culture and the video installation Transodin´s Tragedy. He is mainly working in the field of performance, photography, painting, sound, installations, and film. To research our human condition and create artwork from this reflection he is using often the methodology of the digital-shaman as alter ego.
Paul Cobb is a poet who dedicated his early life to travelling and discovering different cultures. Because of Cobb's very close parental ties to Nigeria, he developed a personal connection with that country. He became the one who travelled to Egypt in his early twenties, among other places, only to find out that the people of Africa are not as wild as the prejudices of Western society preached. Now he's a seaweed activist and seaweed farmer. Here in Europe, the Roaring Water Sea Vegetable Co-op was the first algae farm in Ireland and a pioneer in the field of algae farming. Kelp farms also create an incredible habitat for smaller crustaceans and other creatures that fish like to eat. Sea vegetable propagation techniques have evolved over the past 15 years under the auspices of Bord Iascaigh Mhara. Paul the Poet is one of the visionaries who show us new ways in which we can grow food and make a living that can both heal the planet and make life more satisfying.
