Celebrating 50 Years Of Van Morrison With Music Historian Scott G Shea

The unstoppable Van Morrison will celebrate his 79th birthday on August 31st. Over his long career, the trailblazing, reluctant Irish superstar forged his own style, which is a unique blend of rhythm and blues, American jazz, rock and roll and his native Celtic music. And he’s still going strong! In fact, he just released “Live at Orangefield,” a 2014 live performance at the secondary school he attended as a teenager, which debuted in the U.K. Top 10, and, starting in September, he’s set to tour parts of England and the U.S.
