19. Action Spy Movie: The Movie (American Assassin)

So if a movie comes out in September, when will it arrive in Yellowknife? Correct! Up to a month later! That's what happened here, folks, with American Assassin. We talk if this is a fresh take on the action spy genre or something more derivative of films past (hint: it's the latter). Some cool action set pieces have a hard time making up for the poor dialogue and basic plot points. Ah well.
