This episode we find ourselves on a first contact mission in a prescribed region of United Federal Republic space which has been set aside for a developing planetary system. The MSV Lascelles has been dispatched with a crew of First Contact officers and Cultural Pollution Specialists to appraise the suitability of making initial contact with the population.

This culture seems about to emerge into the wider galactic society... are they ready to be introduced to the neighbours and of course anything could happen...
