The Opposite of Time Blocking

Time blocking I guess was made famous by Cal Newport and is an excellent way to schedule and be productive. It does mean you have to have a plan and the will to execute that plan. That's something we can dive deeper into in a longer episode - not just the plan but why we fail to plan, what stops us, and how to remove those things.

But this is a 5-minute quickie to use time blocking in reverse to find out what we do all day - the diversions, the distractions - the 'stuff' that we do or don't do without realizing it and then wonder where all the time went.

As some think time is finite, a runway that's always getting shorter, I'll share with you a way to find those things that we consciously choose to distract ourselves from the important work of living the best life.
