Hey everyone, welcome to episode 135 of the Antler Up Podcast!

On this week's episode I was joined by Marcus Smith from Black Ovis! Most of you know Black Ovis as your one stop shop when it comes to all things hunting gear like archery equipment, boots, clothing, backpacking gear and a ton more. I had the opportunity to meet Marcus at this past year's ATA show in KY and knew I wanted to get him on the show. Well better late than ever and I had a great time talking to Marcus about a few different topics when it comes to hunting and gear!

We start out this episode with Marcus sharing his background in marketing and how being a professional skier led him to his job with Black Ovis. Marcus then talks about growing up chasing elk in UT and now his passion is bowhunting! I love these stories because you can really hear it in his voice how much this means to him. This episode wouldn’t be complete until we really got into talking about some gear. With western hunting in full swing I asked Marcus what his must have pieces of gear and more!
