I'm trying to figure out how to I ought to modify the sound when it's a ship firing versus a handheld weapon. None of the tweaks I've tried so far sound right yet, because there's only so much you can do to modify a sound before it loses quality.
Maybe I'll just leave it, but I know it would be cooler if I can manage it!
