Episode 9 - Challenges & Bureaucray

In this episode, Angel recounts her flight from Copenhagen to Gatwick and the administrative challenges she has faced. She discusses her experience with Southern Housing, her current landlord in Brighton, highlighting long-standing issues including disrepairs, poor customer service, and a failed appointment with a surveyor on December 31, 2024, for which she had flown back earlier than planned. Angel clarifies that she did not miss the appointment; the surveyor simply did not attend.

She also reflects on difficulties with registering at the Citizen Bureau in Copenhagen. Due to her surgical transformation, her appearance does not fully match her passport photo, preventing her from obtaining a P-code, an essential document for administrative registration. Angel talks about these bureaucratic hurdles and their impact on her plans, while sharing insights into navigating such challenges as a resident moving between countries.
