Listen to Dr. Allie Sharma in conversation with Mandy Teefey as they speak about her mental health journey which led her to co-found Wondermind, Wondermind as a mental fitness ecosystem, and more on reaching out to young people on  advocacy and mental health.

Mandy Teefey is co-founder and CEO of Wondermind, the world's first mental fitness ecosystem. With a vision to destigmatize and democratize mental health, Mandy has ingrained this principle in the fabric of every marketing strategy and brand initiative while leading Wondermind’s strategic direction. Driven by her own mental health journey and passion for storytelling, Mandy has introduced a first-of-its kind, inclusive content hub aimed to provide mental fitness resources and change the narrative on how mental health is portrayed. Under Mandy’s leadership, Wondermind has accumulated a collective audience of 2M and amassed 3M site visitors in the first three months of launch. Mandy is also the mother of Selena Gomez, who is the chief impact officer of Wonder Mind.

Today, Wondermind’s high quality product offerings include a 2x weekly newsletter, an always-on content hub, a top-ranked podcast called Baggage Drop (currently #3 in Mental Health on Apple podcasts), select film and TV projects, and an Advisory Committee of licensed mental health professionals from all fields and backgrounds. Wondermind launched in 2022, of which Gomez and Teefey are part of the co-founding team.
