This episode of All Write in Sin City features Windsor poet Vanessa Shields. She talks about her new book of poetry, now in production with Windsor-based publisher Palimpsest Press. She also shares her process for writing poetry, and talks a bit about her new venture, Gertrude’s Writing Room, a place where writers of all ages and interests can come hone their craft and get inspired.  

We’ll also feature author Cecil Foster talking about his new book, They Call Me George, and  how African Canadian railway workers changed our national history. His book is the first in a new history series of publications coming out from Windsor’s own Biblioasis press.
