In radio news, yet another company is hit with layoffs.  Liberty Media and Sirius Satelite radio will murge with some changes to the murger agreement.  There is lots of news on the street, and we continue our look at those Personal People Meter Ratings.  Next those all important call letter and format changes, followed by feature segments on the Willie Mayse and Jerry West.  Our classic aircheck is Ron O'brien from WCAR AM from Detroit on Dec. 31, 1971.  Finally our featured station lets us here the doctor of rock on WLLZ FM from Detroit.
