98. Did The Batman Fix the DCEU? or Kevin Drifts Away Like An Enya Song

The guys kick off the official show with some good stories. Pete shares a story about a trip to the local live theatre. If you participated in theatre at any point, you'll really dig this story. If you didn't, just treat it like your spouses Christmas party and laugh when everyone else laughs. It will be over soon... This week, Andrew talks about the classic film, The Hurt Locker. This leads to a quick discussion about how much he looks like Anthony Mackie. And, let's be honest, you've never seen them both in the same place at the same time, have you? Pete then takes the guys into the big talk of the day, The Batman. For the first time in a long time, the guys actually like a DC film! Yes, there are some issues, but overall it is a great film by DC standards which feels like such a dirty thing to say. After they share their love for DC, Pete discusses Winning Time, Minx, and the cancelled Netflix beauty, Teenage Bounty Hunters. All of these shows come with high recommendations from Pete, but you can actually buy that Teenage Bounty Hunters is good because Kevin agrees! Kevin finishes us off with FROM and Yellowjackets. He glosses over FROM, as he plans for a full review next week. But he digs deep into Yellowjackets. Both shows are great, so tune in next week for some FROM talk! As always, thank you for watching.
