This week, Kevin and Andrew are joined, once again, by Andy. Pete is still out because adulting is stupid but he swears he's not dead and will be back soon. If you came here to see Pete, we apologize on multiple levels... The show starts off with Kevin discussing Warrior Nun on Netflix. It is arguably one of the shortest reviews in the history of APNC, but hey, it's something. When that ends, Andy's undeniable lust for Andor is thrown into the forefront and the guys go over that show quickly. It's a bit of a debate over whether it's the best show on television right now, but it adds a little spice. After what is probably the largest appetizer in the history of meals, the guys finally tackle the main course: Black Panther Wakanda Forever. This section is spoiler heavy, so be warned, but one spoiler we can give away here and now is that everyone loved it. The guys will gush like Niagara and if you've seen it, you know why. Since we are using meal analogies here. Imagine you've had a huge appetizer, like one of those crazy multi-tiered seafood platters (Andor). Then you loosen your belt a little and get the 16oz porterhouse with mashed potatoes (Black Panther). Any normal person would stop there. But now pretend you are Pete (sorry Pete, you aren't here to defend yourself) and decide that you still need dessert. You order the house made sorbets because they sound delicious. It turns out that the seasonal fruit is all sour, so despite being beautiful to look at, it just doesn't taste right. That was Don't Worry Darling. We'll talk about it, but this is the dessert you send back. After rejecting that one, the guys move to the real dessert, Barbarian which is now streaming on HBO. The guys dive into this one and overall enjoyed it quite a bit. It's an interesting premise for a horror film and has a killer first act (no pun intended). This is definitely the podcast dessert you are looking for... Well, now that meal analogies have been beaten to death, we say thank you for watching this week. We hope you enjoy the episode. If you do, give us a like. If you haven't already, don't forget to subscribe and leave a comment. Also share with your friends. And with that, have a fantastic week and we'll catch you next week!
