Dodgers Swept by Lowly Pirates — Is This the Low Point for LA's 2025 Season?

The Los Angeles Dodgers dropped another game to the Pirates on Thursday evening, completing a sweep at the hands of the NL Central’s last-place team and the lowest-scoring team in MLB. The offense showed signs of life in the ninth inning, but it came down to Ben Rortvedt against a major-league pitcher, and unfortunately that’s a battle Rortvedt loses 91% of the time.
