If you're like most people, you probably associate courage with fearlessness, but that is not always the case. In fact, courage is taking action in spite of the fear you may feel. There are many people who have a fear to succeed than they do of failure, however it still takes courage to succeed. Being courageous can make you more successful in life because you're more likely to pursue your dreams, goals and seize opportunities as they present themselves. Both failure and success are teachers of life. You never really lose, but you can always learn from both sides of the spectrum. Both start in the mind, but as you embrace courage and incorporating it into your life you can increase your sense of happiness and fulfillment. The ancient text once said, "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Proverb 23:7a).
