Most teachers start side hustles because they want to supplement their income to either relieve stress over bills that are piling up, pay for their kids' extracurriculars, save for vacation, or even to fund hobbies they feel guilty paying for out of their paychecks.
Others, however, launch side hustles as part of an exit strategy. Due to a variety of factors, we know that there's been a mass exodus of teachers leaving the career over the last few years. And today's guest is one who deuced out of the classroom after being pushed to the brink by some really toxic administrators.
After seven years in the classroom, Liz Langs decided to take her tutoring side hustle and scale it into a full-time business.
