AdventuRetired Introduction Episode

Tell us about your Adventure!

This is our first and introductory podcast! We are Curt and Cindy Liljedahl, and we are so glad you found us!  Here is a little background about us, your hosts!  We have been married 34 years and have 60 years of teaching in the classroom between us. Curt is a retired physics teacher, diving coach, and aquatics director and Cindy is a retired elementary reading specialist!  We were both born and raised on farms in Iowa and met at Iowa State University (Go Cyclones). We  moved to south Texas for our careers where we  lived on the Rio Grande Border for over 30 years.  Retirement came with a dream to move back to our roots and find a piece of lake life.  We both love to travel and experience new people and cultures so a podcast sounded like a great way to share our retired life.  We hope to share our adventures  as well as the adventures of other retired people we have encountered on our journey.   We are always looking for new adventures so please share your retirement experience with us at AdventuRetired @gmail.com.  Please subscribe to our podcast where we will drop a new show every few weeks!  Until then, "don't sit too soon"!
