#022 Are We Recycling or Wishcycling: Who is to Blame.

Many of us think that recycling is a fantastic thing and that is what is going to help us save the planet.  However, in many ways we are not recycling we are wish- cycling.  Sadly, many times recycling is just another term for a long, expensive trip a plastic bottle takes in order to end up in the landfill.  Besides, if recycling was the answer to our garbage pollution, why do we still have a problem.  

This episode focuses on the challenges of the recycling industry. In my opinion, putting so much money in teaching us how to recycle is just another way for the industry to place the responsibility on the trash problem on the American public. Besides, the industry and keeps producing single use plastic products should at least bear some of the responsibility.
