Capsules has some cool ideas. It does a good job of building tension and has an interesting premise. But the writing ignores the characters, continuity, and its own logic. What good it does do is usually in scenes that do not make sense. Most of all, it is filled with privilege.

Smoking Causes Coughing is the most absurd superhero movie ever released. It includes heroes named after cancer causing chemicals, a talking barracuda, and lots of blood. It does not make any sense on paper, but it is one of the most interesting films to come out this year.

We also talk about a modern kung fu movie, a quick remake, one of the biggest releases of the year, and a new release from Shudder.
