Our month of Summer Horror continues with a combination that would seem to live in infamy. What happens with the director of one of the most notorious found footage films teams with the villain of some of the most infamous female revenge movies of all time? And why had none of us ever heard of it?

We also talk about a feminist fable that is a good idea in theory, but misses a little in the execution.

The Exorcist is one of the most familiar and iconic horror movies of all time. It is a shame that its sequels have been underappreciated at best. A sequel is in the works and we talk about why this one just may work. We also discuss the cryptic teaser for the next A24 horror movie.

Scales is marketed as a feminist fable in a dystopian society. That is not entirely correct, but it definitely deals with taking on a patriarchal society. We talk about delivering a message effectively, strong female characters, and if style over substance can work.

Summer Horror Month continues with a look at 1986's Body Count. The title may be generic, but when you have director Ruggero Deodato  of Cannibal Holocaust and David Hess from I Spit on Your Grave, there is no way you are going to get your run of the mill 80s slasher. So what do you get?
