Episode 115: Creature features/'Honeydew' review

There are some small tweaks coming to the show the next few weeks. Until then, the guys have a full plate. This week, the topic is creature features. Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel talk about the best, scariest, and worst monster movies. They also review one of the strangest movies they have seen this year.

The show stars with talk about the upcoming Stephen King virtual film fest. The guys talk about the past and future of King adaptations. Plus, a discussion about Lisey's Story.

This week the three review Honeydew. The film is an arthouse horror movie about a couple that gets lost in the woods. It sounds like just another scary slasher, but it is anything but. The worst thing about horror movie leads, disgusting food, and Lena Dunham's best role are all discussed.

The show ends with a talk about creature features. The trio try to figure out how to define a creature feature, talk about the greatness of Ray Harryhausen, and look back on some of the underrated classics of the sub genre.
