If you keep trying to do things for yourself in the evening, but they're not happening or maybe just happening sporadically... have you ever thought of moving them to the morning? 

I used to not be a morning person until I realized that having no structure in my life wasn't helping me move along, and if I wanted to get my life together, I was going to have to start with my mornings.
