Right around noon on March 3rd, 1876, the skies over Mud Lick, Kentucky filled with falling chunks of meat. Some claimed it was a sign from the Gods, others took it home and cooked it for dinner. A local hunter said he reckoned it was bear meat, but a local butcher said it wasn't anything he'd ever had, and a fancy New York Times writer claimed it was the remains of an alien fallen to Earth. Officially said to be the result of several vultures disgorging themselves before flight, we don't think that math lines up with witness accounts. Find out all about it today y'all.
