This week Jennifer interviews guest Jaja Chen, LCSW. Together they tackle the stigma associated with metal health care in the Christian community, exploring a new but proven effective treatment called, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Jaja also shares her personal story of her childhood in the mission field, and the global need she sees related to mental health care.Jaja Chen, LCSW, CDWF is a clinical social worker in private practice in Waco, Texas specializing in burnout, trauma, and perinatal mental health. Jaja is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and has previous nonprofit work experience in the field of domestic violence. Alongside her therapy work, Jaja and her husband co-own Waco Cha, an organic bubble milk tea company.
