Lea and Ken Madren are an amazing example of a loving family, facing challenges head-on as they supported their son, Chip, through his battle with stage four brain cancer at age thirteen.

For three years, and with incredible strength, Chip battled cancer. The fight left him with lasting limitations, but his love for the outdoors remained unstoppable.

Determined to make a difference, Chip and his family established Chip's Nation (www.chipsnation.org), a foundation dedicated to supporting children battling cancer.

He currently excels, working for the GA Dept of Natural Resources, proving that limitations don't define your ability to pursue your dreams.

Chip's story continues to inspire others. He recently spoke at a GA DNR fundraiser, his words resonating with the audience, raising over $460,000 for their accessible hunting project.
