What if Jesus really meant what he said when he told us to love our neighbor? What if the road to eternal life, the life that really is life cuts right through our neighborhoods? I am wondering if our hope for healing in this time of deep division and distrust might actually be found in getting to know our neighbors and wrestling with what it means to be a good neighbor.
