A Different Lens – Parable of the Prodigal Son, with Rev. Dr. Steven Koski. Series: Seeking A Spacious Christianity, First Presbyterian Church of Bend, Oregon. Scripture: Luke 15.11-32.

How can we shift from a transactional to a transformational faith? Our image of God has a profound impact on how we see ourselves and relate to the world. If one’s theology leads to feelings of guilt and shame, maybe it is time to change that theology. Love is not earned. This week, we’ll hear stories from Jesus who introduced humanity to a God of love and grace, rather than a judgmental and angry God.

About the Series, Seeking: Seeking a deeper and more spacious faith through the stories of Jesus. In this series, we focus on Jesus's parables to promote a deeper, more spacious faith and challenge rigid beliefs. Jesus urged to live in a more spacious way by contrasting societal norms with the kingdom of God values.
