Cal Harrelson joins the podcast to discuss his family's early roots in Myrtle Beach, years growing up in Columbia, SC, learning from his dad who was a political press secretary for then SC Senator, Fritz Hollings, and attending the University of South Carolina. Afterwards, Cal became a state manager for the Reagan/Bush 1984 presidential campaign, then moved to the South Carolina coast. While living here on the coast, Cal owned his own Public Relations firm and then became a successful Real Estate professional using his "GONE" signs to indicate the sale of another beautiful coastal property. After work, Cal not only enjoys hunting and fishing, he has become an artist producing his Calmetto paintings as a nod toward his enduring love of the palmetto tree and the state of South Carolina.
