In honor of Veteran's Day, we interviewed Fr. Pat Stenson, former Pastor of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church in Pawleys Island. Fr. Pat was born and ordained in Ireland. Eventually he came to the United States, became a U.S. citizen and a U.S. Army Chaplain 18 years. After leaving the Army, he was assigned to the Old Soldiers home in Washington, D.C. Next was his assignment to Precious Blood of Christ in Pawleys Island, SC. Fr. Pat served as Pastor for 17 years and now still says Mass, officiates at weddings, baptisms and funerals in Pawleys Island, Garden City and around the country.
