“Shopgirl”

In the latest episode Donny and Maura discuss Shopgirl the 2000 novella about a young woman who works the glove counter at a ritzy department store and finds herself involved with an older man. Martin adapted his book into the 2005 film which he also starred in opposite Claire Danes and Jason Schwartzman. It was directed by Anand Tucker.
