Rachel Balkovec is a current hitting coach for the New York Yankees who is breaking the barriers of sport in society one day, one job, and one stereotype at a time. In 2019, she was hired as the first full-time female hitting coach in a Major League Baseball organization. Outside of that, Rachel's resumé contains arguably one of the most formidable rolodex's of jobs, experiences, and relationships. She has held jobs in Strength & Conditioning in professional baseball with the St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Astros, and Chicago White Sox. Before professional baseball, Rachel also had stops with the LSU Tigers, ASU Sun Devils, Driveline Baseball, the Dutch national baseball and softball teams, and Exos - in addition to completing multiple Master's degrees.
