In celebration of Black History Month 2023, Karmen sits down with one of A Line's incredibly talented and newest stylists, GeGe Howard. GeGe shares what it was like to grow up as a woman of color, the bravery of her grandmother and mom to push boundaries, and wearing her mom's homemade bright, loud clothes when the rest of the world wanted her to shrink. GeGe talks about her love of clothes; the way they feel, fit and look. She enjoys empowering women through the transformation of fashion and style and encourages others to, "Fake it until you become it," dressing the part and exuding the confidence it takes to stand out in a crowd. GeGe shares her appreciation for the men and women of color who paved the way before her and the places they've stood to create the opportunities she has today.
