There’s something magical about visiting the places where our favourite authors once lived and wrote. In this episode, I take you with me to Jane Austen’s House in Chawton — a modest Hampshire cottage where some of the most loved novels in English literature were revised and written.
I’ll share my first (slightly chaotic) attempt to find it, what it feels like to stand at her writing table, and why these literary places carry such a lasting pull.
Plus, we’ll talk about the quiet influence Jane’s attention to everyday life still has on readers and writers today.
