Eps. 15 Melissa Whaley, an inspiration for us all.

Breast Cancer Survivor, Melissa Whaley comes on the show to tell her unbelievable story.  We usually focus on Great Stories on our show but hers is off the charts, it’s absolutely amazing!  She shares from that first phone call from her doctor to now being cancer free.  

Why does she share her story?  It was not easy for her to share but she does so to help others that have no idea what to do or where to go for help.  She felt alone just 18 months ago.  Now she is a beacon for others.  Her 4 Pillars have made her stronger as she recovers from this terrible, deadly disease.  Now, she wants to be a resource and someone to lean on as other women start their own path from discovery to recovery.  

Breast Cancer affects 1 in 8 women. That is 25% of all women, that is a staggering statistic.  Recently, CT accepted the Real Men Wear Pink Nomination for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  He immediately reached out to Melissa to be a Special Guest on the podcast.  Hopefully, we can continue to raise meaningful dollars that will save lives.  Melissa shared that there is hope thanks to new technology and new research.
