The gift of Christ's vision is the only thing worth seeking. This powerful message from Lesson 306 of A Course in Miracles invites us to embrace single-minded devotion to Christ's perspective as our path to peace. 

Have you ever wondered how someone can remain joyful amid the world's apparent chaos? The answer lies in recognizing that the ego's world—based on fear, judgment, and separation—is fundamentally untrue. When we withdraw our investment from the ego's framework of competition and fear, what remains is "the radiance of God's world."

This isn't heaven itself, but a foreshadowing, an "ancient memory" returning to awareness. This shift in perception is our redemption, available not in some distant future but in this present moment whenever we choose to see differently.

The practice involves approaching with "empty hands and open hearts and minds," without judgment or pretense of knowing what's best for ourselves or others. We recognize that God's gifts cannot be earned or bargained for—they're simply received when we stop bringing our offerings of ego. The gift of Christ is described as "inexhaustible," "not fragile," and "infinitely renewed in every holy instant." It's the only thing we can truly offer our brothers and sisters.

Begin your day in stillness, coming empty-handed to receive Christ's gifts. When distracted, pause and ask: "Is this the gift I want, or am I seeking less than my inheritance?" At day's end, recall moments when the world seemed more like heaven—glimpses of mercy and kindness that inspire you to keep your perception free of judgment. Remember, every time you seek only Christ, you remind yourself and everyone else that you never left your divine source.
