A happy outcome to all things is sure. This radical promise from A Course in Miracles forms the foundation of Lesson 292, inviting us to consider that no matter how tangled, painful, or impossible a situation appears, its final outcome is guaranteed to be joy.

God's promises make no exceptions. The only variable is time – how long we choose to believe in what the Course calls an "alien will" opposing truth. This resistance to what's already resolved is what creates the perception of problems, suffering, and delay. We keep looping in fear, choosing to believe that what we see with physical eyes represents ultimate reality.

The Course offers a profound shift: we're never actually interacting with bodies or physical matter – we're always interacting with spirit, with love. There literally isn't anything else. This certainty overrules perception. Our minds manufacture trials and terrifying scenarios, but in reality, they've already been resolved. God's plan is complete. What we experience as time is merely our mind aligning with what's eternally true.

The practice is beautifully simple: non-interference. Delay comes from our attempts to fix, control, or interpret based on the ego's voice. When we apply this understanding to healing modalities, medications, or any treatment, we're invited to use them not to "fix" something broken but as tools helping us see our inherent wholeness. The body isn't real – we are free, still as God created us.

Start your day affirming that every situation is already resolved in joy, and your role is simply to allow this recognition. When stress arises, gently ask: "How might I be interfering with the happy ending?" Notice where letting go brings relief and where control prolongs tension. This lesson reframes your entire life as a story whose final chapter is already written – a comedy, not a tragedy. The only question is: how soon will you decide it's over?
