16. Walk Up Lindas: Students Creating Change in School

Students like Laura and Aislynn were already creating change in their own school before the Parkland Tragedy. These students were already “walking up” before “walking out” and both actions can be done simultaneously to make a difference. As school shootings specifically and gun-violence, in general, are complicated issues, it will take multi-faceted initiatives to reach solutions. Desiree speaks with Laura, Aislynn, and their teacher Jordan about one example of an initiative.
